The APSA Committee on the Status of Contingent Faculty in the Profession brings together contingent faculty to reflect on their experiences and the committee's proposed Minimum Standards document, asking:
- What challenges covered in the Minimum Standards Documents have you faced or observed in your career? Are any experiences/challenges you faced missing from this list?
- On which issues have you seen progress?
- If you have observed (or contributed to) institutional change, what factors do you think led to success?
- Is there anything APSA could do for contingent faculty?
