Session Description
Hollifield et al (2022) typology labels “latecomer “or newer countries of immigration as those countries that did not have notable immigration in the early decades of the postwar era. This panel stretches this across several regional contexts and addresses citizenship laws, diaspora pursuit, and migration of people of share the dominant somatic norm of the host country and testing of the inclusivity of nationalisms.
