Session Description

We confront a context where the teaching and research of matters related to race are under attack, and where efforts to diversity our institutions through diversity, equity and inclusion are leveraged to undercut even the most accomplished scholars in our ranks. The purpose of this roundtable is to make space to discuss these matters directly. Topics covered will include how we might better support one another as we persist in these contexts, strategies for navigating environments increasingly hostile to our persons and our work, and means of developing thicker ties among our membership and across university contexts.
