The four papers on this panel address different aspects of teaching qualitative research methods to undergraduate political science students. Growing out of a recent virtual symposium at which participants grappled with the importance, challenges, and possible approaches to introducing undergraduates to a range of qualitative research methods, the papers offer rationales for prioritizing this instruction, as well as concrete strategies for implementing it in both methods and substantive courses.
