Panelists whose works cover many of the areas of the world transformed by the Third Wave will discuss the challenges and opportunities that democratization has brought to their regions of interest and the rest of the world, and the lessons that can be learned from the successes and failures of the Third Wave. The panel will also examine the current state of democracy around the world, and the prospects for further democratization in the future.
