Othmar Spann and the “Conservative Revolution”

Abstract

Othmar Spann, one of Voegelin’s two doctor fathers, was part of the so called “Conservative Revolution”. The paper aims at explaining the meaning of the (obviously contradictory) term “conservative revolution” and Spann’s role within that (once) important European movement.
