Is there an economic policy prioritization divide between rural and urban voters? Extending beyond previous studies which have focused on issues such as resentment, cultural preferences, and political support, this research aims to illuminate the ways in which individuals from rural and urban attribute relative importance to economic policies. Drawing on original survey data gathered in Norway, this study investigates the distinctive features that define the preferences of rural and urban voters. By examining the political priorities of these demographic groups, I seek to unravel potential disparities or similarities that may exist in their perspectives on economic policy.
