This panel brings together 3 papers that examine the effects of transnational commitments, ideologies, and ways of thinking on American Jews. Collectively, these papers explore how American Jews told stories about their relationships to place and space, about how American Jews pursued interests abroad, and how American Jewish subjects conceived of themselves in transnational terms.
