Session Submission Type: Panel Session
This panel includes three innovative papers on Jewish populations that have not been studied sufficiently. One paper addresses Jews who also identify with another religious tradition. The second paper examines economically vulnerable Jews. The third paper assesses the social connectedness and belonging of Jewish young adults under the age of 40. All three of these groups have been marginalized in different ways in Jewish communal life and discourse. These papers will shine a spotlight on these understudied populations.
