Abstract

At the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg, Yiddish Studies are located at the Chair of Jewish Literatures. The presentation gives a brief overview about current research activities and teaching topics in both subjects at the Chair in Heidelberg, with special emphasis on both the interconnectedness of these subjects as well as their individual character, and their specific role in the broad fields of Jewish and Judaic Studies.
